Dr. Sagi Elbaz

Sagi Elbaz completed postdoc studies at the School Of Education, Tel Aviv University in 2016. During his Ph.D. studies, he received an Excellence Award (2007) from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Tel Aviv University and also had Doctoral Scholarship (2006-2010) from the Department of Political Science at Tel Aviv University. He was awarded his Ph.D. by the Political Science Department, Tel Aviv University, in 2012. His Ph.D. dissertation earned the award for best dissertation in Political Science in 2013 from the Israeli Political Science Association.

He worked as a Teaching Assistant, teaching the Comparative Politics course (undergraduate) in the Department of Political Science at Tel Aviv University. Dr. Elbaz was also a Visiting Lecturer (undergraduate) at the Government and Society School in The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo, Tel‐Aviv.
 
 
His research interests include Political Communication, Elites and Minorities Representation, Media-Military Relations, Peace Journalism, and Culture of Conflict. He has published four research books in political science and political communication: Strategic Elites in Israel: The Distribution of Power in the Israeli Society. Jerusalem: Carmel Publisher, 2018; Rethinking Israeli Journalism: Core Values & Media Revolution. New York: Israel Academic Press, 2015; Loyalty to the Source: Media, Ideology and Political Culture in Israel. Tel Aviv: Resling, 2014; and Minority Opinion in the Hebrew Press: Representation of the Arab Population in a Changing Public Sphere. Tel Aviv: Dyonon Publishing, 2013.
